Calculate your landed cost

Free2 minutesNo account needed

Step 1 of 5

We search the official USITC tariff schedule for the real duty rate on your product.

Your landed cost is wrong somewhere. It always is.

The calculator is free today. The account is where the leaks get plugged for good.

Tariff stacks nobody can recompute

Base rate + product tariffs + country rounds + metals — layered, and different on every entry date. Your cost model from six months ago is fiction. We apply the current full stack for your route, every time.

Wrong HTS codes, silently costing you

A one-digit classification difference swings duty from 0% to 25% — and CBP can audit back 5 years with penalties up to 4x. We flag classification risk before it becomes an audit.

Broker invoices you can't verify

Brokers file from the data they're given, at speed. Stacking errors, wrong headings, fees that were "estimates" — you pay either way. We show what the charge should have been.

2–4% hidden in every supplier wire

One importer wired $38,000 through a major bank and paid $3,100 — over 8%, invisible in the exchange rate. We calculate your real FX cost and what the same payment should cost.

Margins that aren't margins

"That 35% margin? It might actually be 15% — or negative." Most sellers underestimate true landed cost by 20–30%. Per-unit economics, per SKU — so your price list is built on reality.

Rates that change after you order

Duty policy shifted repeatedly since 2025 — between your PO and your clearance date, your cost can move double digits. Alerts the day your route changes, not at the port.

Section 122 stopgap tariff expires

The 10% stopgap that replaced parts of the struck-down IEEPA regime reached its statutory end. Entries under both regimes need a legal-basis review — the rate on your next shipment may differ from your last.

New Section 301 round proposed on 60 economies

USTR's latest proposal would add product-specific rounds across 60 trading partners. If your origin is on the list, your landed cost model needs a scenario for it.

De minimis is gone — every parcel pays formal entry

Since August 2025, sub-$800 shipments no longer enter duty-free. Companies that built costing on de minimis are carrying a hidden per-parcel duty and brokerage line.

3× per year

HTS schedule revisions keep shifting codes

The tariff schedule is revised roughly three times a year. A code that was right in Q1 can be wrong by Q3 — "classification drift" is now a leading cause of duty overpayment.

Sound familiar?

"The factory quotes $4 a unit. Then freight lands, the duty bill arrives, port charges appear — and that $4 unit has quietly become $7."
"My broker says one rate, the news says another, and my supplier heard a third. Nobody can tell me what I actually owe."
"That 35% margin? It might actually be 15% — or negative. Most sellers underestimate their true landed cost by 20–30%."
"Rates changed three times while our container was on the water. Our pricing was wrong before the goods even arrived."

Common questions

Is the calculator really free?

Yes — single calculations are free with no signup, forever. The free account (Google or Microsoft sign-in) adds what a calculation can't do alone: rate-change alerts on your routes, bulk SKU mode, saved work, and PDF reports. No credit card.

How accurate is the estimate?

It applies the current average effective duty stack for your origin — base rate plus the special tariffs in force — to your values, with MPF, HMF, and typical brokerage. Your exact figure depends on your HTS classification; for most planning purposes the estimate is within a few points, and it always beats costing off the FOB price alone.
